Hi there, I have just bought the EE package and was trying to install the EE4 plug in but the below message appearing on my screen. Any advice?

Also is it recommended to download all plug ins straight away that come with the everything package?

Hi there,

The advice there is to contact your current hosting provider and ask them if they can update your server to run a more current version of PHP. Event Espresso 4 will function while your server is running PHP 5.3 though.

As far as installing add-ons go, it’s best practice to only install the add-ons that you plan on using or are interested in using. For example, if you don’t have a MailChimp account or no use for one, there’s no reason to install the MailChimp add-on.
