I already completed that form at the same time as posting. Have you not received it?

Hi,

We did not receive it, please be sure that you click on the submit button at the end of the form. You’ll then see a confirmation afterwards.

If you don’t see the confirmation, then it did not go through.

Hi Kelsa,

We received your installation form, but it’s not complete. Can you re-send and include FTP credentials that allow access to the files in the WordPress installation? Thanks!

I tried to provide you with more information but I’m not sure what one of the questions is asking me. Please let me know what else you need.

Hi Kelsa,

The hosting account credentials are sufficient. Before we can install Event Espresso, we’ll need to request that your host update to newer version of PHP. This is because Event Espresso requires PHP 5.3 or greater, and currently your server has PHP 5.2.

We can go ahead and ask your host to update to PHP 5.4, and they say it can take up to 45 minutes for them to get that done. Do we have the okay to request the PHP update?

Yes that’s fine.

Okay, your host says it can take up to 45 minutes to upgrade to PHP 5.4. We’ll check back in a bit and once they’re done we can get started with the install.

Hi Kelsa,

Which add-ons do you need me to install? Also, which gateway will you be using?

Kelsa Dickey

I have to go through each add-on and tell you which one I’ll need? Umm…ok, I don’t exactly know yet so I guess I’ll say:
Promotions & discount codes
People Add-on
Multiple Event registration
Events Social Sharing
Mailchimp Integration
Table View
Grid View
Calendar View
WP User Integration
Printable Tickets
Also, are you referring to payment gateway? I’ll be using paypal.

Hi Kelsa,

The install and configuration service is meant to give you a jump start on getting your site going. Note that none of the add-ons are required to use Event Espresso 4 but if you would like to use any of them, then we’ll set them up for you.

We’ll need some private information from you so we are going to reply to your support token form.

Thanks

Lorenzo

I understand. Then those are the ones I’ll likely be using. I just assumed the “package” I purchased came with set plug-ins and they’d all be included in one installation, hence the confusion.

Did you see my earlier post about starting the 14-day free trial with Event Smart so have some “features” done already? Not sure if this helps you at all to see what this was starting to look like before I decided to use Event Espresso instead.

I do not see an email from you. Please let me know if it’s been sent or if you’re working on it.

Hi Kelsa,

I emailed this message to you, but wanted to post it here as well.

I have completed the installation and configuration. I have setup the Venues and events like you had in Event Smart. I also moved your media over. I tested a registration with my testing Paypal account, and everything went through fine.

Please let me know if I can do anything else for you.
