This is to request installation and customization of Event Espresso on our server for Con-volution.com
There is not a lot of documentation on the website about exactly what this service provides beyond a basic installation of the software on our server. Please contact us with the information you require and what services the custom install provides in setting up the product so we can provide the necessary details.
On your account page, you will see a link to the form we need you to fill in in order for us to get started with the installation. You will find the link on the right side of the page about halfway down.
The support item you purchased is the Basic Install and Configuration. This includes installing Event Espresso and the add-ons of your choice that are included in your support license. We then will test the payment gateway to ensure it works on your server environment:
Before I hand you an admin account with keys to the kingdom, I was wondering if you could give me a full breakdown of exactly what the service entails for configuration. Is it only setting up of a paypal gateway, or would you also set up and test the gateway for our quickbooks online account?
Also, which version will you be installing? 3.1.x or 4.x ? When I downloaded the package from my account page, it installed in my sandbox environment as 3.1.x Im still trying to understand why there are two different versions – there are support documents on the site for 4.x Is 4 the most current version?
With the install and config, we install and do a basic set up the plugin and specified add on plugins and set up the payment gateway/s you are using and will test them using sandbox credentials to make sure things are working, emails going out etc.
3.1.x will be installed, 4.X has yet to be released and when it is it is in Beta so we would not install it on a production site. The documentation is there in preparedness for the coming release, so sorry for any confusion.
