Infusionsoft tags ONLY when ticket is approved

Is there a way to ONLY tag a contact that has been approved? The conditional tagging option is more global and we are trying to tag contacts FOR EACH EVENT ONLY when the purchase is successful. But we are not asking unique question for each event – just accept the T&C. What we are trying to accomplish is to to tag them with the event they have successfully registered for? We run 14 events per month and growing so we need to know the event they are attending.
