I’m wondering if you can tell me what happens when the Infusionsoft integration for EE fires off a contact to EE with associated tags. Specifically, do the contact and the tags get created simultaneously? Or are the tags added immediately after a contact record has been created?
Infusionsoft told me that it’s impossible to add tags to a contact record unless the contact exists first. However, I’d like to confirm this is true when EE is creating the contacts in Infusionsoft as well.
The reason for the question is we’re trying to use Zapier to create a subsequent contact record from Infusionsoft into our billing system, and the available trigger for the action is ‘Tag Added to Contact’.
An invoice is also created which includes the event name and amount paid.
