Hi,

Additional attendees are being created on our Infusionsoft account.

The problem is that when the attendee is not the ticket buyer the contact is created without any additional information to allow us to identify event and ticket type, therefore we can’t add him/her to our campaigns.

I see that there are a widget on the event page that says “The following Infusionsoft tags will be assigned to all contacts who register for this event”, but as we have a lot of tags on Infusionsoft, only a fraction of them are being displayed and unfortunately the older ones. So we can’t set them…

What can we do?

Thanks
Bruno

Hi,

How do we add additional attendees as contacts to our infusionsoft?
When buying one ticket it works fine, but how do we store atendee 2, 3, and so on?

PS. we are using the infusionsoft integration plugin.

Thanks

Hi,

I merged your topics to help keep the replies organized.

With regards to the tags, Infusionsoft limits the API call to 1000 tags. Do you have more than 1000 tags?

Hi Josh,

Yes we do.

But even if we didn’t, how could we tag attendees based on the event + ticket type they purchased?

Thanks
Bruno

Hi Bruno,

The tagging only applies to the event, it does not apply at the ticket level. What you can do is use the Custom Fields box to manually add any Infusitonsoft tags to the event when you don’t see the tag in the selection list.

In the event editor, you scroll down to Custom Fields, then click Enter New. You’ll input infusionsoft_tag_id into the Name field, then input the tag’s ID into the Value field. Then click the Add Custom Field button.
