What is the recommended way to have each individual ticket price printed on each ticket type – from a group purchase. Currently, it shows the total of entire transaction.

For example – three tickets bought at the same time:
Ticket A: $25
Ticket B: $50
Ticket C: $75

(currently it would say $150 on each ticket – confusing the event-goers)

any suggestions would be appreciate!

Hi there,

I checked on this and from what I can tell the current version of Event Espresso 3’s ticketing add-on displays the individual ticket price for each ticket when there are differently price tickets. This is with the default ticket template of course. Has the ticket been modified?

I have been using the same ticket template for the last 2 years – maybe i need to update that ticket template file?

Possibly, if you download a fresh copy of the ticketing add-on you can compare the template that’s included in it to the one that you are using now.

The ticketing add on can be purchased separately and is also included with the business support license.

Ok, so i have to purchase it again to get the updated CSS file?

Also – I don’t see where i can upgrade my license to business license?

Hi there,

It’s not a matter of a new or old CSS file. The CSS files included with the ticketing add-on handle the layout of the tickets. They do not handle how the price of the ticket is displayed short of the text color and style. There are PHP function files and there is a base PHP template file that are part of the ticketing add-on and those are what handle the display of the ticket prices.

I do not know whether the newer version of the ticketing add-on is the solution here. It may help if your version has been customized because then you’ll be able to use the defaults. It may be something different on your installation of Event Espresso that I’m not aware of. I posted a copy of the default ticket template in this gist so you can review:

You can contact the sales team to discuss your options on updating to the business license via their contact page here:
