Hi,
we have some troubles with EE counting number of tickets. I created event with one date time and Limit set to 1. There was only one ticket available. I made a registration, approved it from pending payment and event went to sold out. Then I cancelled the registration and event was available for registration again. Once again I made a registration, approved it and event went to sold out again. Then I changed ticket Price to something else. EE created another ticket, the original was greyed out. So far everything worked as expected.
Afterwards I cancelled the previous registration, but event stayed sold out even if there are zero tickets in Sold and Rsrvd fields.
Event becomes available only if I change Limit to 2 even if there are no approved registrations.

I can’t reproduce this following the steps above.

Just to confirm, is it the event or tickets status that is showing sold out (or both)?

When EE generated another ticket, it would have had a qty of 0, did you update that?

Add any screenshots that show exactly what you see when testing the above?

When EE generated another ticket, it really had a qty of 0, that was the problem. We never set qty, just limit for the whole datetime.

You’re most welcome.

Just to note, the Qty field of the new ticket is dynamic, it’s the number of remaining tickets on the ‘original’ ticket when it’s archived.

In your example that was 0 (Qty of 1 and a Sold value of 1), so that’s why you get a duplicate ticket with a 0 value.

If you had a ticket with a Qty of 10 and 2 sold, then changed the price, the new ticket would have a Qty of 8 and so on.
