I created an event months ago when we thought the event wold be Jan. 13-15. A month later, we changed everything to Jan. 6-8. Everywhere I look in the Registration and Event information, I see Jan. 6 – 8.
However, I just got an email from an attendee who says that their ticket shows that the date is Jan. 13 – 15 and that date is displayed just below the name of the ticket type they purchased. Everywhere else on the ticket it shows Jan. 6-8.
“So first, how was the event date changed? Was the original date time deleted and replaced with a new date time or was it edited?”
Not sure what the difference is. I went into the event and changed the dates everywhere I found them to be incorrect.
As to your second question, We only had a handful of registrations that slipped in before I changed the dates, but he was one of them. I think he was the 3rd person to buy a ticket so he purchased BEFORE the date was changed.
So that’s an important clue, they actually registered for the event when it was set in EE to start on Jan 13. If you go in to edit the ticket template, can you find the short code that’s outputting the incorrect date?
