I have an event which suddenly seems to be inactive. I have also noticed that it is in “draft” status but won’t change to any other status. There is also no option in the status to choose” Publish?
Please help

Hi,
Have you checked the event’s dates to make sure they’re correct and not in the past?
There shouldn’t be an option in the status selector to choose “Publish”, but there should be a Publish button if you’re logged in as a WordPress admin.

There is a publish button… but even after clicking it it still says status “draft”.
The dates of the events are definitely in the future. I have slightly different tickets of which 3 are past, 1 is present and 1 is coming up.
I also created a test event with a future date and 1 ticket type and same issue is happening there… inactive event and stuck in draft?

This is really unusual which makes me wonder if there’s a plugin conflict happening. Have you tried going into the event editor with all other plugins deactivated?
If possible, you could also check the PHP error log, there may be an error logged there from the moment that you clicked on “Publish”.

That’s strange. Can you please check to see there is a caching plugin active on your site?

Thank you for all your suggestions… it certainly was strange.
I deactivated all plugins and it seemed to start working. I then reactivated them all again one by one and none of them seems to have stopped it working again… so currently all seems ok.
Very strange but perhaps this an example of “turn it off turn it on”.
