I can’t seem to find a way to import anything or make changes in bulk to events in EE4. I have seen other threads suggesting exporting one of my existing events to make an import file, however this doesn’t work and gives multiple errors.

This is marked as a pre-sales question because I will not be repurchasing EE or a support key if not resolved.

Hi Patrick,

Which software are you using to edit the CSV?

Did you catch any of the errors thrown during the import?

Using excel to edit.

Hi Patrick,

Can you let us know which version of EE4 you are attempting this on?

This is in 4.4.7.p.

Hi Patrick,

This is likely due to incorrect permissions or open_basedir restriction being enabled on the server.

If you check phpinfo() or your php.ini file for open_basedir and see see if there is a path specified, if so the it is enabled, check if your destination path is within that path, if it is that could also cause the move_uploaded_file() to fail.

I would recommend issuing a ticket with your hosting provider to check the correct permissions are is use and if open_basedir is causing move_uploaded_file() to fail.
