Hi:
I want to include some images in my event, however, as soon as I hit update, these images turn into codes.
i tried uninstalling EE3, and have now upgraded to EE4, but this problem has not gone away. I am at my wits end and have no clue what to do next. I am not a tech person. Please shed some light. Thanks.

Hi there,
Have you tried using the text editor instead of the visual editor when you compose the event?
Can you post a link to the event that shows the codes so we can investigate?

I’ve seen this happen before where switching back and forth from the Text to Visual editor does this. Or another WP plugin could be contributing. If you include the same image to a regular WordPress page or post does it do the same thing?
You can fix the image link by switching to the Text view in the event editor, then remove your code for the image, and replace it with the code posted over here:

Thanks, that works, but it happens to every image I am trying insert in every event that I try to create…so how should I resolve the problem?

I can advise checking for a plugin conflict first. It shouldn’t normally do this.
