WordPress Version 4.0 and current EE3 with calendar add-on
Site was migrated to a managed WordPress Hosting Site with GoDaddy
http://www.ipainttoday.com

2 days after migration some of the images on the calendar are missing, and it is different depending on the browser. On Safari they are all there, on Chrome 6 images are missing and on Firefox 11 images are missing. With Chrome and Firefox there are only 2 images that are missing on both. It appears that some of the image urls are reverting back to the test site URL, but it is inconsistent on the browser. This makes no sense to me. Any ideas on what is wrong.

Hi,

Did a web developer migrate the site for you?

Checking several of the images shows that they are referencing a different website:

http://fd4.23d.myftpupload.com

How was the site migrated?

I sent the wp-content file and database via SFTP to GoDaddy and they ‘unwound’ it. The fd4 url was the test site they migrated from. I don’t understand why some of the images are showing the former url and others are not.

One other thing, the site worked fine for several days before the images disappeared. Is there somewhere in the plug-in files or database that could be retaining the old url?

Hi,

Could you ask Godaddy to check the migration?

We found several other resources unrelated to Event Espresso that is linking to the temporary site. In this screenshot, there are some broken social media icons:

We reloaded some of the images and the site seems to be working now. Definitely a migration issue.

Thanks for letting us know how you fixed the issue. Is there an article on the Godaddy site that has information on what is changed?

This will be helpful for other members that may run into this issue.
