The WordPress theme actually controls whether a featured image is displayed on the event page. Where Event Espresso has control over the featured image is with the Grid view shortcode, the calendar shortcode, and the event list shortcode. In other words, if your WordPress theme doesn’t display the featured image on the single post, then no image will display there.
What you could do is add an image to the content of the event description, or check the theme’s settings to see if there’s an option to display the featured image on the single post. A third option would be to alter the theme’s single.php template (or template part called by single.php) and change it to display the featured image.
I have one in the description of the event and its not showing on the page as well as the featured image isnt displayed , what do you think I should do?
I see two images below the description label. Do you see those too?
This does look like a site with the Divi theme, so you may have accidentally changed the setting to remove the featured image. Here’s how to change that setting back to display featured images again:
1) You go to Divi > Theme Options > Layout
2) Set “Place Thumbs on Posts” to Enabled
3) Click the “Save Changes” button
