If a customer does not pay for his registration directly or if this payment is unsuccessfull, I send him a reminder per email with the link to his registration. But then this page only says INCOMPLETE or PENDING. There is no button to pay again.
Is this a normal problem? Does the customer have to registrate completely again, or is something else wrong what I do?
I use the Pronamic Ideal plugin because the Molly plugin refused to work properly.

Hi,
In the General Settings, please make sure that the “Show payment options for “Pending Payments” on the Payment Overview page?” setting is set to yes.
So long as it is the gateways should show on the payment reminder page.

Sorry, but this setting is set to yes, but it does not show.
What I think is strange, that the only payment method we accept is IDEAL, and that with unsuccessful ideal payments this is automatically changed to INVOICE. We do not accept invoice.

It could be an issue with the Pronamic add on, as that is sporadically supported (it’s not our plugin).
Can you add activate an alternative gateway and test the email link? It should appear.

It is no issue of the pronamic plugin. I tested it with Pronamic deactivated and your Mollie iDeal activated. The same issue. If a payment with ideal is cancelled, I am transferred to the Thank you page. There it says:
payment incomplete and
payment status: pending.
No button to try it again.
Please help me with this issue. At this moment we are full in the phase of selling tickets.
Now we must cancel every incomplete payment, send the client an email his registration is cancelled and hope they will registrate again. Not very client friendly.

The shortlist dont go to the payment options site its show the payment status.

Aivars reported a seemingly-related bug that the Paypal button isn’t appearing. It’s appearing for me so I’m having difficulty isolating the problem… I’m also trying to reproduce with the iDeal mollie gateway, but unsuccessful: the button to try paying again appears just fine. (see screenshot: https://www.diigo.com/item/image/kj80/muqs) Here’s where I’m testing: eventespresso.com/sandbox/gateways/. Are you able to reproduce the bug on this test site?
Wim Brouwer can you provide us with a link to see this error ourselves? Also, what version of Event Espresso are you running?

Ok i’ve finally managed to reproduce the problem. When I set the language on eventespresso.com/sandbox/gateways to nl_NL (dutch) I got the problem on new payment also.
The problem arises because, in some recent version, we decided to translate the payment status. That was good, but other code expected the non-translated payment status…
I have a fix for it now. If you feel comfortable with editing the PHP yourself we can go that route, otherwise we’ll have to release a patch…

Ok here’s a quick solution: https://gist.github.com/mnelson4/5687056. It does require you to have FTP or SSH access to your website. If you don’t, you can also use the plugin editor inside wordpress to edit the event espresso file payment_overview.php. Let me know how it goes!

Hi Michael,
Yes, its Ok, me payment now works fine.
Registrations, go to the email, read registrations email, click in email to the payment page link – opens in a payment page (Thank You page) and payment options show (payment statuss is Pending). Its work.

For me everything also works fine.
Perhaps this was also the reason why I did not get ideal payments complete with your mollie plugin. Therefore I switched to the Pronamic ideal plugin a few weeks ago….
