We are introducing this feature in an upcoming version of Event Espresso 4.3. This version is currently being tested internally.

Hi Jeff,

I wanted to let you know that an enhancement for an add to calendar link in the registration confirmation email is now available in the current version of Event Espresso 4.

Important: Please backup your WordPress (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/) before making any changes and updating Event Espresso 4.

Here is how to find it after updating to the latest version of Event Espresso 4:

Login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then look for the Registration Approved message type and click on Registrant. This will take you to the event editor and you’ll be viewing the Registration Approved message type.

Scroll to the date times area which appears further down the page. Then you can add this shortcode to the date times area:

[ICAL_LINK_* link_text=”Add to my Calendar”]

Then save changes by clicking on the save button.
