I know that Iced Mocha is old and not supported. Unfortunately, we still have it enabled and just moved our site to a new host. At this time, I do not have time to update and re-configure a new site as we have an event coming up soon!

But, when we we had to re-apply Iced Mocha onto the new host, I am trying to remove the default text post that describes “Use-cases and Examples” post. I cannot get this to go away!

Can anyone please help?

Hi,

The simple solution will be to install and activate this theme instead:
https://wordpress.org/themes/tempera/

It’s basically the same theme as Iced Mocha, but without the stuff you don’t want.

Otherwise, you go to Appearance > Iced Mocha Settings > Presentation Page, then set Enable Presentation Page to Disable, then click Save Changes.

We will change themes shortly, unfortunately time is not on our side ATM. I did try to use the presentation settings but that default post will not go away. Nothing I do will get rid of it.

Belay that last comment. Disabling the presentation page also removes our front page posts we need. I need to be able to have out standard posts plus the events displayed.

For now, I can just disable it until we figure something else out.

Thanks

Can you explain what you mean by “that default post”? Can you post a URL to the page that has the content you want removed?

Sure, go to https://glpad3.org

OK so that part can be edited by going to Appearance > Iced Mocha Settings > Presentation Page, then edit the fields under “Extras > Extra Text”.

The one place I did not look. Seriously, I looked at EVERYTHING ELSE.

Thank you
