Hello, I’ve been using Iced Mocha Theme on EE4 for several months and all has been good. All plug-ins are up-to-date and I’m on WordPress 4.4. At some point in the last couple of weeks the normal content on the Iced Mocha Settings page disappeared and I just have the Iced Mocha logo and buttons showing “Reset to Defaults” and “Save Changes”. Please screen shot from a few moments ago. Any assistance gratefully received. |

Hello Brooke, WordPress 4.4 brings some changes to the settings page HTML structure that interfere with our themes’ settings page. Since this change comes at the same time Customizer-based options became mandatory for theme updates, we’ll have to update the theme to add WP Customizer support ๐ |
|
Hello Seth, Thanks for the reply, I’m not up to speed on the Customizer so I hope I’ve understood your response correctly. Is there a way to make updates without access to the Settings Page? If you are planning to update the Iced Mocha theme do you have an idea of when? What about your premium themes? |
|
It looks like WordPress removed support for the settings page completely. I have been working on replacing it all day. I think I’m close to being done. |
|
Brooke, I think I have it fixed, but there are a few little styling issues I need to fix. Can you please try downloading and installing this version? Please let me know if that fixes the issue for you. Also, if you see anything else that looks strange, please let me know. |

Hi Seth, I’m pleased to report that the settings page is back, screenshot below. I imported theme options from my previous version and the only things I’ve noticed different so far are; menus in the top bar sit too low and the menus in the primary navigation and/or the hover reveal sub-headings seem to have shifted to the right. I had to re-add header and background image. Thanks for your help with this, I appreciate your efforts. https://theswingdancecompany.co.uk/screenshot-2015-12-16-13-13-44/

My pleasure. I noticed the CSS issues in the menu as well. I’m going to work on these next. |

FYI, we were able to fix the CSS issues. You can download and replace the other theme with this version: |

I encountered the same issue. I’ve no urgent need to change the Iced Mocha settings but no doubt there will be in the near future. Are you planning a regular update via WP? I could wait for that. Or should I update manually? |
Hi Joost, Currently we do not be push auto updates for iced mocha so to update you would need to do so manually ๐ |

Thanks Tony, I’ll do so |
Hi Seth, I added and replaced with your latest version you listed on this string December 16, 2015 at 12:52 pm but the original problem returned; all the content disappeared from the settings page! |

Hi Brooke, I checked the latest version of Iced Mocha with WP 4.4 and it works. Last week when I was testing I experienced something similar but it was due to having multiple versions of the theme installed (e.g. old and new) and then activating the old version. Could you remove any copies of the theme and re-install the latest version? Here are the steps: 1) Go to Appearance –> Themes 2) Click on Iced Mocha and this will show another screen 3) Look for the Delete link (appears in red) in the bottom right corner and click on it. Then confirm 4) Now download the latest version here: https://github.com/eventespresso/iced-mocha/archive/master.zip 5) Return to your Themes screen in your WP dashboard and upload the newest version of the theme and then activate it. Then go to the settings area and they should appear. — |

Hi Lorenzo, Thanks, all good now. I appreciate your time, keep up the good work! Brooke |
