One of my registrants wrote – “I am all signed up and have one question. What time is the event? Your invite says 4 to 6pm but when I download the event to my calendar it says 10am to 12pm.” I went back and checked and the event says 4-6pm. https://wdma.org/events/chicago-area-direct-marketing-meetup/

Hi there,
I checked and your site’s settings has the wrong timezone set in WP > Settings > General.
It’s currently set to UTC+0:

Here’s how to fix:
1) You go to WP > Settings > General and change the Timezone setting to Chicago, then click Save Changes
2) Go to edit the event and correct the start and end times, then click Update

Thanks – that did it! I couldn’t test it because I use google calendar not iCal – any thoughts on when I can save to google calendar?

You can now. Google Calendar can import .ics files. An even simpler way to save to Google Calendar is when you open the registration notification email (in gmail) you can click on the date of the event.

Google will then automatically add the event to your calendar.
