I checked the link that should normally trigger a download and the only thing I see that’s out of the ordinary is there’s an extra slash in the link URL. This in itself doesn’t appear to be breaking it though.
Can you check the installed plugins and let me know if there’s a plugin that’s being used the redirect the page to load as https? Also, another thing you can try is temporarily deactivate other installed WP plugins, which may help narrow down the issue.
The extra slash I’m referring to is the one that appears just before the first ? in the URL string. I’ve not seen a slash there on the test sites I have set up when I download an iCal event.
It could be any type of plugin. In order to rule out whether it’s a plugin conflict or isn’t one, a quick test would be to temporarily deactivate all of them except Event Espresso, then check again.
