Hi,
I can’t get the iCal link in Events Registration to work. Currently displays a long string in the browser URL without downloading an .ics file? http://www.svc.org.au/events-calendar/. I’m guessing this is a server issue … but maybe not?

Hi Rob,
This may be a plugin conflict. Can you try temporarily disabling all non-EE plugins to see if the issue persists? This will help narrow down the issue.

It is a very strange issue and one I cannot recreate locally no matter how hard I try. I even replaced the ICAL link on your site with one of mine on a test site and it worked. As such it has to be something server related but right now I do not know what.
One option to rule out is a theme conflict, unlikely but you never know. Can you try a default theme such as 2012 ?

I’m afraid this may be a server issue. We developed and tested the iCal feature on Apache and nGinx servers. If you can switch to one of the supported servers it will likely resolve the issue you are seeing.
