Hi EventEspresso support team,
Can you please send me the code on how to offer a ical file download link on a single event page. I only have the ical (ics) file download possibility on the venue page, but I want to link to the venues page to download the ical file.
Is there also a possibility to delete the link to the venue on the single event page.

Hello,
The ical button will appear next to the datetimes for the event. Have any changes been made to that area of the single event page?

You’ll find the code that Event Espresso 4 uses to generate the ical button in our github repository:
https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/blob/master/modules/ical/EED_Ical.module.php#L85
You can disable the Venue info from displaying on the single event page by going to Event Espresso > Events > Templates, then set Display Venue Details to No.

Hi there,
It depends on where you want the ical button to be displayed. Normally they’re automatically included with the list of date times.

Hi Josh,
I would like the ical button to show up right next to the event name and the date and time in the title section. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up there. Any ideas, how I can solve that issue? Thanks a lot.

Normally only the event name is displayed in the title section. Did you happen to customize the templates to that it shows the date and time there too?
