I’m using EE on a site selling workshops. We use Early ($745), Regular ($795), and Late ($845) Registration pricing. I’m being asked for a special across-the-board price for First Nations members. I want to be able to use a code for this rather than create another price in order to keep the special pricing under-the-radar. But can’t figure out a way to do that. I can only do dollar and percent discounts. Has anyone figured this out?
I’m assuming registrants are not required to log into the site to register, correct?
We don’t currently have an option to create a hidden price/ticket but could you not use a promotion code to give a discount on the currently active ticket?
I’m assuming your Early/Regular/Late tickets are set to expire and start on a rolling basis, as in your early ticket sale ens on (for example) Oct 23rd at 23:59 and then your Regular ticket starts at Oct 24th 00:00? If so you’ll need to edit the promotion discount amount as the ticket changes to apply the correct discount but you can use the same promotion to apply across all tickets.
Thank you, Tony. I appreciate the noble attempt!
The evolving discount amounts are what I’m trying to avoid since we typically have a dozen courses scheduled at any given time. We’ll work something else out.
Again, thank you for your suggestions!
You’re most welcome and I’m sorry it doesn’t work for your use case.
If you do find a solution for this please do let me know as I’d be interested to see what you come up with.
