Why revert? Simple. It asked me to back-up my data. I am the “owner” but not the tech guy. I have backed up a site before, but a while ago. My guy who does that is not in.
Every so often, if the Event Espresso data does need updated, there is a process in place for Event Espresso to detect that the data needs updated or migrated and to trigger the migration process. If the data does need to be migrated, you will be notified in the admin and your site will be in maintenance mode until you complete the migration. The migration is essentially 3-4 clicks to run the migration tool. That’s how it’s supposed to work so it should only take a few moments/seconds and you’re done.
