I don't want Abandoned or Incomplete registrations

How can I prevent registrations from going into event espresso when a user fails to pay. Although our fee is clearly stated – people must be shopping and then do not go further when presented with payment options. They go into the database and clog up my list of registrations with data I don’t want.

Hi Petr,

A registration needs to be recorded before a payment can be made. You can remove them by going to Event Espresso –> Registrations.

You’ll now be viewing the registrations overview screen. Then click on Incomplete link which looks like this: http://cl.ly/image/2R0V2M1Q2J2K

Then select all by using the bulk select option and then click on the bulk actions dropdown and move them to the trash:

Then click on Apply.

There isn’t a way to prevent those from appearing and they do not count against any datetime or ticket limits that are set through the event editor.

Thanks for the reply.
Kind of a bummer – means lots of manual maintenance. Oh well.

Can we turn it into a positive?
Is there someway I can send them an email encouraging them to come back and finish registering? Pay the fee and be formally registered for the event?
