Hello community!

I am searching a calendar booking solution and Event Espresso came up in Google. We would like to create a solution for a following scenario:

We have many branches of our store. Each store has its own calendar and I want each store to put their own “opening slots” for their customers to book an appointment. Customer can see store’s calendar and pick time/date and make an appointment. Customer can change the schedule later on. The store manager can only look/edit their branch calendar – not others. We also like to prevent a customer to book on a same time schedule at multiple stores. I might have other specifications but that’s it for now.

hi Takuya,

How are you today?

Are these appointments such that more than one person might register, where you might ask information about the customer other than their contact info?

If you’re only looking for something that can book an appointment during a consistently repeating schedule, then Event Espresso might not be the right application.

If you’re looking to manage the registration and ticketing for one event or several events then Event Espresso will work well.

Yes & Yes. Each store identifies open slots (e.g. Monday 4pm-5pm. 5pm-6pm. Tuesday, 3pm-4pm,4pm-5pm..and so on). Each open slot has capacity of 4-5 customers. The customer is a “registered user” in WordPress and manager can take a look at their info. The trick is each store must be an independent entity. I don’t want Branch A manager to be able to look at Branch B manager’s schedule.

Essentially, each store has its own calendar. Customers search out nearest store and find the open time slots. I am looking for a solution for the appointment portion.

Does that make sense?

Hello,

Event Espresso won’t meet your needs very well as it is primarily used for event ticketing and event management rather than appointments/bookings.
