Huge amount of emails last night to someone registering for an event (3)

we have had clients getting 20-119 emails confirming their registration – WHY and how do I fix this? Thank you Nicholas Pappagallo

Hi Nicholas,

Are you running any caching plugins?

Does your host run server side caching? Object caching or example? (You may need to contact that to check this)

Which host are you using?

We have seen this once previously with WPEngine and it turned out to be caused by object caching, if you host is using object caching I would recommend they disable it on your site.
