How do I update the version for Automated Upcoming Event Notifications plugin?

Error Message – “Event Espresso Automated Upcoming Event Notifications add-on could not be activated. Please ensure that Event Espresso version 4.9.81.p or higher is running.”

Current Version per Event Espresso – Automated Upcoming Event Notification (EE 4.9.44+)

That version error message is related to Event Espresso core, not the add-on. You need to update core to a higher version than 4.9.81.p because there is code in that version and newer that the AUEN add-on is dependent upon.
