I have recurring events and usually just go in to the editor and update the event date as well as the ticket sales start and end dates. I tried doing that today and the interface is totally different–and confusing. How do I set the dates for beginning and ending of ticket sales?

Are you using Advance editor? if yes, you might want to review this.
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/new-advanced-event-editor/

on changing ticket Sales date, you can do that by click the calendar icon.

Can you give us screenshot? or better Can you make a loom for us? https://loom.com/

In the video, show us the error. Can you also check if this error is caused by a plugin/theme conflict.

You can use https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ or any similar plugin.

You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode:

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins troubleshooting mode. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.

Then check also if there’s any log generated.

Hi there,

Do you mind if I take a quick look at this? I’d like to know what is causing the error.

If that ok, you can send temp login details over using this form:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

In this instance I’ll likely need FTP credentials to activate WP_DEBUG mode and see what is happening in the background.

For this:

I tried doing that today and the interface is totally different–and confusing.

Were you previously using the legacy editor? (Details are in more of a table format)

We do have the option to switch back to the legacy version but all future development will be happening on the advanced editor so whilst it could be used to work around the issue you currently have I’d like to take a look at this and see why the tickets won’t update currently.

I don’t mind sharing the credentials with you and will send them in just a moment, but the quote you included in your above response was from the original poster, and not me.

I had assumed you were either the original poster on another account (which we see fairly regularly) or had the exact same issue as the original poster.

Whenever you run into issues we recommend creating your own thread to prevent mixing up issues like this, each user’s issue could be different with similar symptoms.

Having said that I’d still like to investigate the issue with the advanced editor here as you should be able to update without errors.
