How to Set "At the Door" Ticket Price?

We have a standard ticket price for online purchases prior to the event and then another price for at the gate. There is a ticketing fee for online purchase but not for at the gate.

What is best practice for setting that up? Standard ticket that turns off when gates open and new ticket for during the event?

Or use a discount code?
