Hi,
I want to send a reminder email to all registrants that are still to pay for an event.
I’ve created a custom message template (CCCNZ Rally 2017 Payment Reminder)
However, I can’t work out how to initiate the email to all registrants with Payment Pending status.
The documentation talks a lot about creating the custom message but I can’t find how to operate it.
Can you please steer me in the right direction?

Hi Chris,
Currently you can not batch email the Payment Reminder email.
You would need to edit the transaction and click the ‘Send Payment Reminder’ email for each registrations transaction.
You can do that through the transaction menu – http://take.ms/YVDSm
Or within the transaction itself – http://take.ms/Rwp8R
Another option that can be done in batches is to trigger the ‘Pending Payment’ email again, would that work?
To do that select the registrations you want to send the pending payment email for from the registration list – http://take.ms/hDZnl
Then in the dropdown at the top select ‘Set Registrations to Pending Payment and Notify’, then apply – http://take.ms/t1Qci
That will set the registrations you selected to Pending Payment (which I’m assuming they would be already correct?) and trigger the pending payment email.

The last option looks to be the best.
How do I tell ‘Set Registrations to Pending Payment and Notify’ to use the custom ‘CCCNZ Rally 2017 Payment Reminder’ message template instead of the standard ‘Payment Reminder’ default template?

‘Set Registrations to Pending Payment and Notify’ does not use the payment reminder template, it uses the Pending Payment template so you would need a custom version of that template.
Then you set the template on the event(s) through the ‘Notifications’ section in the event editor – http://take.ms/xojt1F
Then trigger the email using the steps above.
