I’m setting up a site for a large dance competition. We’re selling ad space in the program. What’s the best way to set up the sale and is it possible to have customers submit their ad artwork?

A popular means to sell non-ticket items (like ad space, in this case) on your WordPress website is WooCommerce. Either of these add-ons make it possible to have customers submit their ad artwork:

Something’s not right here. When I activate WooCommerce it kills my site. I suspect it’s an incompatibility issue but I’m not sure where. I also use OceanWP and Elementor but they also claim to work just fine with Woo.

When you say it kills the site, what happens? Just a white screen?
It could be a conflict, or it could be your site running out of memory (and/or another issue entirely).
If you’re getting a white screen, there’s a fatal error being thrown someone on the request and if that’s the case, that should show in your sever’s error logs. Your host will usually have a section in your control panel to view errors being thrown, or you may need to check an error.log (or similar) file in the root directory of the site.
If you can post the error being thrown we’ll know more from there.
