Hell I am just starting with setting up everything in EE and am trying to decide the best way to do the following (and if it is possible now that I purchased the full package)
Here’s my situation. A person can purchase one of the following:
Individual “Student” ticket (0-1) – or – Group “Student” ticket (2-more) I have this figured out
Individual “Leader” ticket (0-1) – or – Group “Leader” ticket (2-3) I have this figured out
Here is what I haven’t figured out….
1. If a person purchases multiple tickets how can we collect information on each ticket for individual ticket registration? (We need the name, email, and organisation for each ticket sold at the minimum)
2. When purchasing one of the above tickets wether individual or group we also need to the ability to pair each ticket sold with specific workshops.
In our case a “Student” needs to purchase the main event ticket which includes a choice between 2 workshops in the AM that run at the same time and 2 in the afternoon that again run at the same time. We have 5 plus options for them to choose from in each time slot. And space is limited as well so we have to have a cap. For this is there a way to have them only be able to chose one of the two in the am or the same in the pm workshops?
We have purchased the full package but I am now wondering if this is actually possible. What we really need is the ability for people to purchase multiple tickets, offer discounts for two or more, and have individual options for each ticket. Is this doable?

1) Yes, select which groups of questions you want to use for subsequent tickets, e.g. after the first (primary) attendee: https://www.screencast.com/t/f5aHZvcZf
2) You could use the registration forms to let people select their sessions, but that will not control any capacity limits. So, if you have to enforce capacity limits on sessions then you’ll need to use the sessions as tickets: https://www.screencast.com/t/iBbFDY29I

Thanks for the update. I still can’t get it to do what I need. My primary need is both capacity limits and an either or for those tickets so someone can’t click two. For example Only chose one of five morning workshops that have a set capacity. I don’t think this is possible but it is necessary for us. It seems like such a simple thing. Just a dropdown ticket with options. Any ideas?

Hey Trevor,
You can get both capacity limits and an either or for ticket options by using Multi Event Registration, set each group of workshops into their own event, and set the event to limit “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” to 1.
