I have a development site and a test site both of which have the current version of WordPress and EE4.

Will you please give me the steps on how to import the attendee information into the test site? I can do this through phpMyAdmin if necessary.

Thank you,

Emma

Hi Emma, information for Event Espresso 4 is stored in native WordPress database tables along with supporting information in the Event Espresso 4 tables:

dbprefix_esp_ (wp_esp_)

The best option for moving the data would be to use a plugin like Backup Buddy or WP Migrate DB Pro to move the information over.

Hi Lorenzo,

Thank you for the quick response. I don’t want to do a complete backup and restore because I have made changes to the pages that I don’t want to lose. Would it be possible to just import the tables from the dev site to the test site that start with wp_esp?

Thanks,

Emma

Hi Emma,

Unfortunately, that won’t work as expected due to how the data is stored.

Some information exists in wp_posts and other native WordPress tables such as wp_options and other information is in the wp_esp_ tables.

You could try the export and import but you may see some strange issues.
