My question now is whether there is some kind of workaround to this please?
We are in discussions with 2 different promoters who are in fact also competitors of each other.
Both clients will require their own admin person to be able to view, access and update some of the payment transactions for their own separate events which we can accommodate through an administrative clone profile that will have additional restricted capabilities.
The dilemma that we now face again, is that the transaction information of each one is obviously confidential and exclusive to them and they would not want it to be visible to their competitors who can also access the “view all transactions” tab.
It is desirable to both of these clients not to allow registrations that extend beyond the immediate event registration being offered by them. Does this help to negate the effect of one transaction potentially including the registration from many events that Josh mentions in his original reply?
It is acceptable to both clients for repeat registrations to subsequent events by their attendees to be streamlined through the use of the WP User Integration add-on being used to pre-populate subsequent registrations.
I will be very grateful if you can please advise what could be done to find a way to show each of our clients’ admin person only the transactions that apply to their own events.
In this case you could set up a multisite WordPress installation, where each of your clients could use their own site. We do something similar with eventsmart.com.
