I feel like I am missing something very obvious. We have specific timeslots for our event that we want users to pick a timeslot to register for (so we can limit the # of attendees per slot). Here is my event page: http://prntscr.com/kgpeg9. How come there isn’t any way to pick the timeslot? Here is a screenshot of the admin: http://prntscr.com/kgpet9
Each ticket can be assigned to specific datetimes (they apply to all datetimes by default when created) so if you want registrations for specific times on that event you’d need 3 sets of the tickets you have now ( 3 for 5pm, 3 for 5:30pm and 3 for 6pm)
If you click on the cog icon on a ticket you can select which datetime the ticket applies to.
Thanks for your reply. That is unfortunate. Seems like a very poor user experience: http://prntscr.com/kh5hr9. I was hoping the user could pick their time and then their tickets, vs. seeing all of the tickets for the whole day listed. My event runs from 5-8, so I still have 4 other time options to add.
You can go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and set Show Date & Time Filter? to Maybe. Then the form will include a date & time selector.
Another approach that would greatly simplify & improve the end user experience would be to separate each time slot into its own event. This way the end user can click a date on the calendar, which will take them to a page that will present ticket price options for that time slot only.
