We have set up a conference page and in the questions we have loaded a $value for accommodation & extra tickets so the registrant will be invoiced for the cost of their accommodation along with the event they are wishing to attend, however, the $value for the accommodation and extra tickets are not being carried through to the invoice.
Below is how we have loaded the question
Mon 22 October 2018|179.00,Tues 23 October 2018|179.00,Wed 24 October 2018|179.00
Can you please advise us how to fix this so the $value carries across
Thanks

Hi there,

I’m afraid we’re going to need a bit of clarification about your question to give you a definite answer. Is this about adding line items to the EE3 PDF invoice? Where the line items are add-ons from the Price Modifier plugin?

If so this will require some custom PHP programming within the Invoice template. Are you working with or do you have a PHP developer on your team that can work with extending the basic invoice template?

Hi Josh,
This is in regards to EE3.
We are building a conference page where 1 registrant can register for several people from thier company on the same registration form. The conference runs across several days and the registrants are offered to stay over.
They are required to select the event they wish to attend and dates they wish accommodation for and if they require a ticket to the dinner etc. These have all been set up in questions with a $value beside them. The $value for these questions is showing up on the front page but only the event $value is being carried across to the payment page and it is not adding in the costs of the accommodation or extra tickets required. So it is only going to charge them for the event and not the extras they require as well

We are also requesting full information in regards to each registrant, however, not everything is coming through. it is giving me all the registrants names and the event they are booking for,but then all it is showing is the main registrants details requirements.
We are using EE3 because it provides us with E-Way gateway payment which I am required to use, unfortunately EE4 does not provide E-Way 🙁

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with this:

These have all been set up in questions with a $value beside them

Are those getting set up with a $value by means of using the Price Modifier pre-release plugin for EE3?

Hi Josh
Yes, they have been set up in questions using the price modifier.
The accommodation question is set up in the modifier to look like this
Mon 22 Oct 2018|179.00,Tues 23 Oct 2018|179.00,Wed 24 Oct 2018|179.00,Thur 25 Oct 2018|179.00,Fri 26 Oct 2018|179.00,Sat 27 Oct 2018|179.00,No Accommodation required

Okay since all of those are $179, then it could work better to set an additional ticket price option instead. Since you’re using Event Espresso 3, you can follow this guide that shows how to offer multiple ticket options within one event that can be added into the cart:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

The above isn’t necessary with Event Espresso 4 because EE4 offers multiple ticket options for events right out of the box.

Alternatively, you could do two options where they select one option only. For example:
Option 1 — Main conference only $300
Option 2 — Main conference + accommodation $479

Thanks Josh for your feedback, the issue with these options you have offered is they have the option to stay from Monday to Saturday, however, they do not have to stay al week and I need to be able to define what dates they have selected to stay, if any, so we have the accurate dates booked for their accommodation.
With using the check boxes in the questions along with the price modifier- this will allow me to see what dates they require but the problem we are facing is that the costs are not transferring as they should be.

There can be many reasons for the costs not transferring.

If you go with the first option from above (user Multi Event Registration and set up a ticket option for each priced selection) then each accommodation option can be a separate ticket option.
