Hello. I’ve defined the venue, got an API from google for the Maps, said ‘yes’ to the google maps on the venue page, checked that the address for the venue = address google maps has registered. My venue page is blank (title only) and when I insert [GOOGLE_MAP_URL] into the custom message editor, nothing is display (not the venue address either). Please could you tell me what I’m missing? Thank you. Dee

Hi Dee,

If you preview the site using a default theme such as twentyseventeen, do you see the details then?

You can do that without affecting your normal visitors using the Theme Test Drive plugin.

Hi Tony

I copied the live site to staging and switched in the twenty seventeen theme, and then viewed the venue. Here’s a link: https://guildfordcc.staging.wpengine.com/venues/guildford-cricket-club/
There’s nothing to see unfortunately. I think I must be missing something very obvious … Thanks for looking. Dee

Hi Dee,

What’s strange is the venue information is displayed on the venue archives page:

https://guildfordcc.staging.wpengine.com/venues/

Can you try temporarily deactivating the other plugins installed on that staging site to rule out a conflict?

Hi Josh, I decided not to pursue it anymore, and leave the venue out for now. Thanks for your thoughts though. Dee
