I hope I can explain this clearly enough. We have an event that will run on specific days in a month, in a specific timeframe on those days. We sell 5 different types of tickets for this event. 4 of those tickets are not restricted at all. You can purchase a ticket and use it for any of those open times/days. However, the OTHER ticket type is restricted in that it can only be used during a certain small timeframe and the user needs to pick that timeframe during checkout. This ticket should only have 10 available purchases per timeframe. So, for an example:
Event Datetime: Oct 10, 2015 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Event DateTime: Oct 10, 2015 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Event DateTime: Oct 10, 2015 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Event Datetime: Oct 11, 2015 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Event DateTime: Oct 11, 2015 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM
Event DateTime: Oct 11, 2015 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM
General Admission Ticket: Can be purchased and used on either October 10 or October 11, at any time during the open hours of 7-11 PM. No limit to the number of tickets sold. No need for the user to select a datetime.
VIP Ticket: Can be purchased and MUST have a datetime selected during purchase. VIP ticket can only be used in the 9:00 and 9:30 slots. There are ONLY 10 VIP tickets available per slot. So if someone purchases 2 VIP tickets for Oct 10 at 9:30, there will only be 8 VIP tickets left for that slot for future purchasers.
Hi Kevin, selecting a ticket then datetime flow is not available in Event Espresso 4.
One way to handle this would be to create a VIP ticket option for each datetime that is available.
That will allow you to restrict the quantities available as well as the time period for which the ticket quantities that are available.
