Hi
I’ve been advised to use an event id for this shortcode
[ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=”your_event_id”]
However I can’t seem to get it to work in my post. Could someone tell me what I should use for my event id please? Many thanks

Hi Charles,
Which version number of Event Espresso are you using?
The Event ID is listed within Event Espresso -> Events.
You’ll see the ID in the list next to the Event Title – http://take.ms/j87AN
In this example the ID is 18.
If you have an active support license can you please log into the account used to purchase EE, your current account does not has a license.

I’m just using this on trial at the moment to test it I’ve put in the page id but its still not drawing could you help please? The code I’ve put in is [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=”8?]. But the plug in url is different to where the install is. Would I need to install EE on the domain where I’m putting my events? At the moment the course http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/change-your-mind-change-your-future/ but the demo is http://demoee.org/performancepartnership/?espresso_events=change-your-mind-change-your-future. Is this why it’s not picking up the page id?

Ah, so your embedding the ticket selector within another site.
The shortcode would normally look like this [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=8] however when embedding the ticket selector within another site you don’t use the shortcode.
Edit your event on demoee.org, under the the event title you’ll see an ‘Embed’ button – http://take.ms/vYTKc
Click that and copy all of the output from the popup.
Then on your ‘other’ site add that code in Text mode and update the page. You will then have the ticket selector embedded within the page – http://take.ms/sWnCS
Does that work?
