I am so sorry if this is spelled out somewhere or staring me in the face, but I can’t see the solution. I need a list of all attendees and all custom questions that were answered in the registration form.

The Overview Page: Exports a CSV spreadsheet containing all info and additional custom questions, but only for the primary registrant and not additional attendees.

The Event Check In Page: Exports a CSV spreadsheet containing all info and additional custom questions, but only for the primary registrant and not additional attendees.

The Contact List Page: Exports a spreadsheet containing all attendees, but not their custom questions. Also includes unnecessary info, like “WP User that Created Attendee”, “Comment Status” and “Ping Status”.

MySQL Version:

Hi,

The All Registrations CSV Report button from the Registrations overview, and the Event Registrations CSV Report button from the individual event registrations overview, both export primary and additional attendees and custom questions for each.

The Contact List report does include some rather random data I agree, but things such as WP User that Created Attendee can be useful in certain use cases.

Dean, thanks for the response. I tried exporting again with the same results:

All Registrations CSVC Report button from the Registrations overview exports a file containing only the primary registrant’s data, as well as custom questions. Nothing about additional attendees.

The Event Registrations CSV Report does exactly the same thing except for one difference: the Event Registrations CSV Report also exports a column entitled “Event”, which the All Registrations CSV Report doesn’t include.

Both reports contain custom questions for the primary registrant, but neither report contains the additional attendees or their custom questions.

Hi, I’m seeing some different results and I replied with information on testing.

Please reply to that email. Then I’ll share the solution here to help any other members that may run into this issue.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Thank you, Lorenzo, I just came here to report that this issue is resolved and found your response.

(Please forgive the grouchy evaluation I gave earlier. I just spent too many hours trying to resolve this problem when I got the “tell us how it’s going!” email.)

After combing through all the settings again, I noticed that only one ticket purchase made it into the transaction database for a two ticket transaction (check payment). So I called the person who registered those two individuals.

He told me he only meant to register one individual and thought he was putting the emergency contact person’s name into the custom question box I set up, but instead he somehow entered that person’s name as an attendee.

After the registration was processed he realized his error. He says he immediately went back and edited his registration…this is certainly something I didn’t realize registrants have the ability to do. I asked him to describe how he did it but he couldn’t remember, only that at the time he was very glad we allowed him to edit his registration!

I’ve tried to duplicate what he did and can only surmise that perhaps his browser let him his the “back” button and go back to the registration?

At any rate, he successfully removed the second attendee somehow. His name was not in the registrations list but he did make it to the contacts list. (No other emergency contacts appear in that contact list, just that one. I just tried a couple of times to register people with emergency contacts and none of them show up on the contacts list.)

Note that I did receive two registration pending emails for both names, so perhaps he is correct in saying that he did register two individuals. Only one name showed up in the CSV reports generated by the All Registrations CSVC Report button and the The Event Registrations CSV Report button.

I deleted the second name from the contacts list and now, Dean and Lorenzo–you patient, patient souls–now I see that these CSV reports DO export all attendees, because all of my testing is working properly now.

Thank you for helping with this issue. And again, please forgive the grumpy feedback. I’ll submit a new evaluation after I get this event running.

Ah… is it possible he removed the second attendee by using the edit link on the order confirmation screen?

Nope, I can’t duplicate that behavior. So I go back to my original theory that he may have done this using the back button on his browser.

Hi Bonnie,

Completing a registration and then clicking back would take you to the single event registration page. If you completed another registration right away, then you would have two registration (the original would not be overwritten):
