Did you have EE3 installed, then migrate to EE4 and now you are back to using EE3?
If so did you make a database backup before migrating?
EE4 uses different shortcodes from EE3 and will automatically update the shortcodes when you migrate from EE3 -> EE4 but not back again.
If you do not have a database backup from EE3 (as close to migrating to EE4 as possible) you’ll need to manually update the critical pages shortcodes back to the EE3 equivalents.
The ‘Event Registration’ page currently has [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT], that needs to be [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]
The ‘Thank you’ page will contain, [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU], that needs to be [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS]
