In version 3 there was an icon which allowed you to email those who had registered for an ecent, something I used all the time to communicate things like transport and room allocation. Now however in EE4 this icon has gone and I cannot see any way to send an email to all those on an event. There are various default message options which relate to automated things like emails to people once they register etc but nothing for a simple email to event attendees.
The email all attendees/registrants feature will be available in an upcoming version of Event Espresso 4.
For now, you can create an email list through an email marketing service like MailChimp or Constant Contact. Then you can add a link to sign up for the email list in the registration approved message template.
This will allow you to schedule and/or send an email to the attendees after an event.
