When an art workshop is sold out, participants are seeing that and not clicking on the register link because why would they, it says sold out. The only problem with that is, there is a waiting list but people don’t know because they don’t click on the sold out link.

Maybe it could say something like: Sold Out, sign up for the wait list.

Hi there,

We don’t currently have a check to see if there are waitlist spaces available on the event itself within that template, but you can change the ‘Sold Out’ text to include the above if that helps?

Add the sold_out_button_text='Your custom link text' parameter to your shortcode, liks this:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS_TABLE_TEMPLATE sold_out_button_text='Sold Out, sign up for the wait list']

Note that with the above, it will still show ‘Sold Out, sign up for the wait list’ even when the waitlist spaces are all taken. You would need to load a custom version of the template which checks for waitlist spaces on the event to prevent that, however, it will increase the number of queries ran on the page a wait amount.
