Hi,

I’m trying to centralize user’s data under the wp-admin interface.

I was wondering how can i create a new menu in wp-admin and have the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] showing up?

User would be able to manage their profile as well as their registrations.

Thanks

I was able to create a custom menu but the shortcode does not render.

Thanks

I tried do_shortcode(“[ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS]”) and echo do_shortcode(“[ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS]”) whitout any success.

Do you think I can do something like in this post?

Hi there,

Actually the information about putting the calendar short code in a page template is intended for displaying the calendar on the front end of the page.

The events information already displays on the user profile page. Are you not seeing it there?

Hi,

Actually i know but my client prefers the display of the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] shortcode.

Is there anyway we can render a shortcode under a wp-admin page?

Thanks

A short code really shouldn’t be used in this case. Since your client prefers the way the short code displays, you can create an admin page that loads in the same templates, scripts, and functions that the short code does. Kind of the same principle outlined here:
