I can see in my log files google bot going to /thank-you?e_reg_url_link=xxxxxxxx

What is the best way to prevent them from going there? I already have the thank-you page marked as do not index. I wonder about putting something in robots.txt Not sure what the syntax would be..maybe this?

Disallow: /*? this would prevent any page with a question mark in the sting.

Hi, could you also try setting the WordPress page with the thank you shortcode to nofollow (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/96569?hl=en)?

Then your settings should be noindex, nofollow which should prevents bots from attempting to reach this page.
