How do you arrange the registration form questions so that the person completing the multi-person registration form only needs to enter the different attendee names once?

Multiple attendees example:
A person wants buy tickets for 3 people (attendees) and 4 event datetimes (12 total tickets)

Attendee 1 has 4 tickets
Attendee 2 has 4 tickets
Attendee 3 has 4 tickets

Each attendee is going to the same 4 event datetimes. With the way I have things currently arranged, the additional attendee questions end up getting labeled Attendee #1 thru Attendee #12, where in reality there are only 3 actual people.

Here is my site in case you want to look and give it a try:

Hi there,

Currently, you can’t, at least not with the setup you have.

EE can be set to collect the details for the first ticket (the Primary Registrant) or all tickets. It can’t collect details for ticket 1, 5 and 9 as individual registrants.

What you could do is create a ticket that applies to all 4 of the datetimes (only within a single event) and the user can select 1 of those tickets to apply to all 4 datetimes. If there are 3 attendees they can select 3 of those tickets and you’ll collect the details for all of them.

Would that work?

Here is the situation, maybe you can help me figure out how to arrange it.
When purchasing a general conference registration, 3 other events (datetimes) that include a meal are included at a reduced price, but are optional for attendance. So the 4 tickets are:
conference registration ($900)
welcome reception ($10)
luncheon ($10)
banquet ($10)

I think what you are suggesting is to create 1 ticket that includes all 4 datetimes for $930. However the meal events are optional and not always attended 100%.
Since these are optional and need headcount commitment, the best way we’ve done this in the past is charge the nominal $10 as a separate ticket. Do you have any other suggestions?

With EE you would need something like:

conference registration ($900)
conference registration + welcome reception ($910)
conference registration + welcome reception + luncheon ($920)
conference registration + welcome reception + banquet ($920)
conference registration + welcome reception + luncheon + banquet ($930)
conference registration + luncheon + banquet ($930)
conference registration + luncheon ($910)
conference registration + banquet ($910)

The user then selects 1 of each specific ticket type and you collect registrant details for all.

Another option (although will require more work for the head count) is to use a 3rd party add-on called the Price Modifer which allows you to set ‘values’ to questions. So you’d have a single ticket:

‘conference registration ($900)’

The user selects as many of those as they need and each one is an individual registration, then in the questions have the ‘welcome reception + luncheon + banquet’ as questions each with a value of $10.
