How to add email and phone to Registration Notification email

Why is the email and phone not showing in the Registration Notification email? Is there a way to add them? Else, where can we pull the details of the form they fill out, where it will include their name, email and phone along with the questions? Right now the name, email and phone are in a different section of the page. We would like to have all that information easily referenced in one place to file/share digitally or paper-based.

Hi there,

Why is the email and phone not showing in the Registration Notification email?

We chose not to include them within the default templates based on feedback from users of EE3 and early EE4 testers.

Is there a way to add them?

Sure! Which specific registration email are you referring to?

Registration Approved? The template used for the registrant, event admin or both?

We would like to have all that information easily referenced in one place to file/share digitally or paper-based.

Just to note, all of those details are included in the registration CSV report:

Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event name} -> Registrations.

Click the ‘Registration CSV Report’ button.

We’re looking to add them to the email that comes to the admin, every time someone registers. The email subject is, “Event Registration Details” and the title in the email is Registration Notification. Can we have the email and phone show there?

Ok, so that is the ‘Registration Approved’ email.

Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates.

Find the ‘Registration Approved’ template, click on the ‘Edit Event Admin’ link:

In the ATTENDEE_LIST section you can add additional shortcodes to pull in more info, so for example the first line will be:

<h4><a href="[EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK]">[FNAME] [LNAME]</a></h4>

You could change that to be:

<h4><a href="[EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK]">[FNAME] [LNAME] E:[ATTENDEE_EMAIL] T: [PHONE_NUMBER] </a></h4>

Or add the shortcodes in whatever format you prefer in that section.

Save the template and retest, the event admin email should now include those details.
