Hi Debora,

There are two possible options for this, if you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Under Advanced Features you’ll find ‘Use registration limits on time slots?’ which allows you to set a registration Qty per time slot. However, this does not work correctly is Group Bookings so can not be used on events that have group bookings enabled.

If you are allowing group registrations then you would need to separate each of those time slots into individual events, you can then set the attendee limit for each of those events.

Does that help?

Hi Debora,

What Tony means is that in EE3 time slot capacity is not available with group registrations. As such you would need to create X number of events for each time slot.

So if the event has three time slots you would create 3 separate events.

It isn’t ideal, in EE4 we have modified things so capacity per datetime is possible. Unfortunately the code in EE3 will not allow this.

Hi,

You would need to use a different payment gateway such as PayPal Pro or Stripe. These processors allow your to process the transaction on your own site.

Please note the card details etc wont be stored on your site, it is just that the user doesn’t have to leave the site to process the payment.

We have a full list of gateways available for EE3 here – https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/ (EE3 tab)

Hi Debora,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Payment Settings, you can see all the Payment Gateways available within EE3.

However, to use Paypal Pro you would need a Website Payments Pro account with Paypal. To use Stripe you would also need to sign up with them.

Also when taking payments On-site it is recommended (for some gateways required) that you have setup SSL within the site. Stripe will allow you to test payments without an SSL certificate but to use it live one is required. Your host may already offer SSL as a package so it may be worth contacting them.

Once the certificate is installed you can then follow the instructions here to setup WordPress and Event Espresso correctly:
