Page Template
I have two basic things to list.
1) Event: everything is fine in this template.
2) Recorded Event: I do not need the front end display of start times, end times. I am just selling access to the recordings which are stored in Brightcove. I will be putting the links into the downloaded tickets.

My first thought is to have a “page template” change in the event record which hides these values from the front end, selected from the control featured in the linked image. How do I begin to set that up?

Hi there,

Before you start looking into using page templates (which would mean you would need to take full control over the output, including the content that is normally injected by EE), could you not just hide the date using CSS on those events?

Do you add the ‘Recorded events’ into a category? If so you can use the category slug to target those events and hide the dates.

I did. I referenced our earlier chat about hiding something else and just replicated the CSS call. I may eventually want full control over the output but not before I open some Excedrin.
Thanks!

Great, I’m glad you found a solution.

Taking over the output is totally possible, it just seems a bit overkill for what you are currently trying to do.
